Start of the internal party pre-election process in KINAL, which in fact is predicted to be harsh.
The first focal points of the candidates' agenda have already begun to be recorded, as well as the first peaks on both sides.
In an interview today on Ant1 television, Andreas Loverdos clarified that the current party of mechanisms will not exist if elected president. As he underlined, it will be a party open to the grassroots, which will be questioned, a process which is also facilitated due to digital technology, according to Mr. Loverdos. Leaving peaks and sending messages within KINAL, he characteristically stated "I talked about mechanisms that will not exist in my days. So today they exist and some have them ".
Last night, from Menidi, where Mr. Loverdos spoke, he rejected the scenarios of a government alliance with ND, saying characteristically that "we will not be a crutch for anyone. We will be a big party. We do not give our homeland to the Right in New Democracy. We do not give PASOK to SYRIZA. "Clear things" said Andreas Loverdos, adding that "in the elections of 2022, 2023, whenever the right-wingers who rule today do it, our party will more than double its power and will become 18% and they will ask others, not us, with whom pate".
Nikos Androulakis also gave his own position, emphasizing from the Olympia Forum that his priority is neither to co-govern with SYRIZA nor with New Democracy, but to make a great PASOK, a great democratic faction that can -as he said- in any scenario formed by the verdict of the Greek people to star with ideas, positions and program ".
Mr. Androulakis left tips, insisting on the need for renewal, saying characteristically: "There must be seriousness. Young people do not trust politicians, they consider them professionals μαι I envision changing and having politicians. Politicians who will not be in Parliament for 40 years and their only motivation is to sit in positions of power, with populism and the client state as their political tool ".
Meanwhile, in his speech, George Papandreou in the Second Plenary Session of the Conference on the Future of Europe, without reference to internal party events, but in the form of programmatic positions, described the preconditions for securing a European edifice with a transition to a future green society which- As he said - it will be carried out peacefully only with a socially just and democratic transition, a process in which, according to Mr. Papandreou, the Western Balkans should be included. To create a Europe, not of the elites, but for its peoples, concluded Mr. Papandreou.
