The parades of March 25 should not take place, but in honor of the national anniversary wreaths should be laid by small delegations of local authorities during the meeting that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had with the governors, at the Maximos Palace, with the aim of coordinating to address the coronavirus problem.
The Prime Minister demanded that the instructions given by EODY be strictly observed and that there be full coordination with the competent ministries, while he stressed: "During crises we heard everywhere" where the state is "! Now we have not heard it and everyone must do what they can to not hear it. The state is all of us and we must each do what is due to us. Let us all turn our backs in order to pass this crisis as painlessly as possible ".
Mr. Mitsotakis also stressed that any initiatives should always be taken in consultation with those responsible.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education, Niki Kerameos, the Minister of Health, Vassilis Kikilias, the Minister of Interior Takis Theodorikakos, the Minister of State, George Gerapetritis, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Thodoris Libanios, the Undersecretary of State Akis Skertsos, the G.G. Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias and Professor of Infectious Diseases Sotiris Tsiodras.
