* made of natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas
* Euro 6 category emitting less than 120 gr CO2.
The operation of the service is very simple and citizen friendly. Initially, the interested party authenticates himself on the platform with his codes in Taxisnet and then submits an application for the issuance of the special mark, after declaring the registration number of the vehicle and the TIN of the owner. The data of the vehicle are extracted from the registers of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems of the Ministry of Digital Government.
The check for the vehicle falls into one of the above categories is done automatically and, if it is found that the vehicle meets the specifications, the special signal is issued on the spot in pdf format.
Finally, the interested party must either print it or save it on his mobile phone, in order to display it at any relevant traffic control. Like all electronic documents issued by gov.gr, the special mark has a unique verification ID number, in order to verify the content of the document by the recipient.
