Protesters in Piraeus and Islands outside the Ministry of Interior are protesting, with the main demand being the withdrawal of the circular with which the government further elaborates the work, increases the percentage of part-time work, adding the "possibility" of 2-hour work, beyond from the 3-hour work that was valid until last year for 40% of school cleaners.
The Association of Cleaners of Piraeus and Islands, among others, claims:
Renewal of all full-time contracts without the 3 hours and 2 hours of part-time work for all employees.
Hiring additional full-time staff.
Conversion of all contracts into permanent employment, without terms, conditions and exclusions of employees.
Conversion of the stamps into Heavy Unhealthy for the period 2013-2019 (the school cleaners had BAE until 2013 and returned to them in 2020).
