The traveling art exhibition entitled: 200 Years of Blue and White Spirit, organized by the municipality of I.P. Messolonghi and the War Museum of Athens in collaboration with the artists of the Cultural Group "Art Center - Marble Art Museum", makes its second stop at the War Museum of Athens from 9 to 19 June 2021.

The works deal with the course of the Greek Nation from 1821 until today, rendering visually with various aesthetic styles the important events of the historical path we are going through.
One of the main pillars of the whole initiative is the promotion of the importance of the role of the Greek woman which has excelled over the period of 200 years.
"As the organizers emphasize" this is an event addressed to young, young and old, who are possessed by the feeling of love for the homeland and the arts. At the same time, a positive dynamic is cultivated in the members of modern society, because the effectiveness of the heroic struggle against barbarism is pointed out, which made Greece a springboard and an example to be imitated for dealing with corresponding threats and problems of today. "The artists participating in the exhibition, the organizers point out, address the issue beyond romances and barren attachments to the otherwise glorious past. They harmoniously express the revolution - the battles, the redemption, the freedom, the joy and the pain - through their artistic work.
The source of inspiration is the memories of historical events but also their personal experiences regarding the sparkling Greek spirit in its time course, managing the subject with the aesthetics of color and form. In this way, they individually perform individually, with the style that distinguishes them creating the personal or collective work.
With these data, the artistic richness of the works is delivered for viewing and reflection to the art-loving public.
So 2021 is an opportunity for rebirth and strengthening of personal work and attitude towards life in general. Not only individually but also collectively of the entire Greek society ".
