The Covid-1 vaccination appointment platform opens today, Holy Saturday, May 19st, for citizens aged 45-49, so they can make an appointment for all four available vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, but also Johnson & Johnson, which will be awarded from May 5.
Citizens will be able to book their appointments in the classic way. Those who are registered in the yard receive a message on their mobile phone with the suggested appointment and have a period of 24 hours, so that they can answer whether or not they accept their appointment. Otherwise, they will be able to book their appointment by entering their AMKA on the emvolio.gov.gr platform or at the KEP and their pharmacist.
It is recalled that citizens aged 30-39 (with the AstraZeneca vaccine), 40-44 (with the AstraZeneca vaccine), citizens over the age of 50, citizens with underlying and high-risk diseases, health workers and educators are now vaccinated general education. According to officials of the Ministry of Health in the first days of May we will know exactly when all the vaccines will be available for the age group of 40-44.
The third phase of Operation Freedom begins in May. From May 5, the capacity of the system increases with the development of a total of 1.500 vaccination centers with the aim of getting up to 2,5 million vaccinations in May and up to 4 million vaccinations in June.
In relation to deliveries for the next two months, Pfizer will deliver 2.150.000 installments in May and 2.425.000 in June. From Moderna we will receive 354.000 in May and 308.000 in June. From Johnson & Johnson, 300.000 doses in May, 960.000 doses in June. AstraZeneca has not yet confirmed deliveries for the next two months. We expect a number of installments of 450.000-500.000 for each month.
