The gate of the Metropolitan Church of Athens is maintained by the Ministry of Culture

The ornate wooden central gate of the Metropolitan Church of Athens, dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin, is adorned with full-length figures of saints and with embossed decorative medals. The gate as well as the other wooden doors of the temple needed immediate maintenance.
