Serbian citizens will be able to enter Greece with a vaccination certificate, agreed the Tourism Ministers of the two countries.
In a teleconference held by Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis with his counterpart Tatiana Matic, they agreed to sign a co-operation memorandum that will determine how Serbian tourists will enter next summer. According to a statement issued by the Serbian Ministry of Tourism, it has been agreed that the vaccination certificate will be issued by the competent health authorities in Serbia.
Specifically, it is reported that from May 1st to October 1st, all Serbian nationals will be able to visit Greece if they bring a vaccination certificate.
Those who do not have the relevant certificate will be able to enter Greece only by showing a negative PCR test or antigen test.
The same regime will apply to Greeks visiting Serbia.
"The opening of the Greek borders to our citizens during the summer will be a symbolic image of the full normalization of our lives, and is a confirmation of the deep and true friendship and the excellent bilateral relations between Serbia and Greece," Tatiana said.
