Digital art workshops on art, the gas plant and people. For children 3-10 years old
This difficult winter, the Industrial Gas Museum has designed and proposed a separate series of digital art workshops for children 3-10 years old, inspiring people behind great works of art and within them.
Children will have the opportunity to travel the world of art from home, through the works of five great artists from different artistic currents: from the Renaissance to surrealism and from there to pop art and contemporary art! Children learn stories and invent new ones, experiment with materials, know techniques and make their own visual language.
Our little friends will set up a big party with fantastic friends like o Max Ernst, will meet his wonderful guests and learn his collage technique! They will dance in the dark with the figures of the charismatic Paula Rego and will make their own little dancers and their shadows! They will drill in the eccentric factory Andy Warhol and will make pop-art portraits with famous personalities of our time - but also of the gas factory… They will become great painters and will complete his work Flemish Peter Bregel, discovering the little secrets that his paintings hide and getting a taste of how people lived 400 years ago! Finally, they will return to today and create a colorful crowd of incredible figures, thus knowing one of the most pioneering artists of our time, Anthony Gormley.
Inspired by man, then, children become young artists and are called upon to use all their imagination to create the strangest, different and unique people who have left their mark on art and the factory.
