A rare opportunity is offered to the book-loving public to get acquainted with the publications of the members of the Network of Museums and Cultural Institutions of Athens, many of which are rare or hard to find. These are about 400 cultural books on the subject of each institution / member, which are addressed to different ages, while the possibility of purchasing the books in circulation is also provided.
The exhibition is organized in the context of "Athens World Book Capital 2018" and takes place at Foyer of the War Museum, Vas. Sofias and Rizari 2 (Metro Evangelismos), Monday 11 & Tuesday 12 February 2019, 16: 00-21: 00 every day.

The Monday 11 February on 18: 00 there will be a parallel 45 minute performance narration by the member of the Network "Mythologio" (mythologion.wordpress.com), with a theme "Myths and Stories".
Admission to the exhibition and event is free
Visitors to the exhibition can park their vehicles at Polis Park Rizari with a special price of 1 € per hour.
The Network of Museums and Cultural Institutions
It started in 2009 as an initiative of cooperation of museums and cultural organizations, non-profit, open to the public, operating in Athens. The axes of this initiative are:
• The creation of a common communication base and promotion,
• The exchange of know-how and cooperation both on a scientific and practical level,
• The planning and implementation of joint actions open to the public.
The network is counting today 37 members with 43 spaces open to the public.
